You are right my friend, it’s strange. Btw, I performed one more test last evening and I realized that I was wrong with my latest post. I updated overlay even with turned-off laser machine and LightBurn shows the overlay correctly…
But the truth is that previously, when I observed the distorted image with non-homed machine, I homed machine and after next overlay update the overlay was correct. So I thought that homing does the trick, but it’s not true. Really strange…
My guess is that under certain circumstances the resolution of the camera is changing. When it changes the image looks distorted because there is no proper calibration for that resolution. It could be an issue with interference or possibly a bandwidth issue on the usb bus.
But yes, strange.
