Updated power and engraving test file generators

Thanks everyone for the feedback, Ive made some updates to the power and engraving generators at https://o2creative.co.nz/laser/

  • Bug fixes
  • Added option to add a note such as “3mm Plywood”
  • Added cut angle for engraving tests, so you can test intervals at 90deg etc
  • User can change units to mm/min or mm/sec
  • Changed speed axis from “Speed 300” to using units “300 mm/s”
  • Changed default cut priority to one calculated based on power divided by speed, so fire-inducing cuts/engraves are processed last
  • Added a KERF test generator for fitting tabs and also inserting shapes (circles in holes)

Also looking at creating some frequency/speed test charts, and engraving charts with a combination of fixed dot and range of halftone images at various dots/angles. Suggestions welcome

Great tool, Glenn!

Quick question - is there a reason the kerf test step size can’t be set smaller than 0.1mm?

Hi

Changed the min Kerf step to 0.01, Keep in mind that you can only have 29 steps in total as that’s the layer limit for Lightburn. (1 layer used for the Labels)
