I recently exchanged my Comgro Laser for a Zbaitu Model and Lightburn doesn’t have a Zbaitu drop down option to change the Device; how do I do this or does it matter from a Vendor perspective regarding firmware or other settings?
I believe both both the Comgro and Zbaitu are GRBL devices. If they share all other attributes like Working area size and Origin then it’s very possible they’ll both work under the same Device profile.
However, if you have any truly device specific differences between these two lasers you’d want to create a new device profile. You can do this by pushing the “Devices” button in Laser window and then proceeding to “Find My Laser” or “Create Manually”. Once created, LightBurn will work with Device specific configurations.
