I currently own a k40 with a cohesion3d board, will be buying a new machine in the next month, that will have a Ruida controller, I assume I need to upgrade my license for this, but my question is does this disable me from using my little k40 machine with cohesion3d board?
No, the DSP version just adds the ability to control DSP machines to the GCODE support you already have.
