Hello Kenny Lynn here my lu2- 10a 10 watt laser has bitten the dust what has anyone here upgraded to. I have 40=80been looking at laser tree 40-8- watt and Aenbruslm 40-80 watt are either any good,looking on allie express boht in the $70-80 dollar range with 14 day free shipping i have bought some things from alliexpress before and was pleased seems like a big bang for the buck and 80 watts from a diode laser i would be happy if it was a true 10 watt and cut 1/8" plywood 1 pass at 100mm
At that price point I am guessing that is the input wattage for the module. If they do not specify the output wattage, exercise caution.
It did say output but when looking at pictures one of them sheowed engraving 10 watt I’m of the generation of sound too good to be true beware I was hoping somebody here had a upgrade that worked for them and would share
Are you sure it is not just a broken wire or loose connector?
My Creality Pro 10w quit engraving unless it was set a low speed and a very high power. Bought a Laser Tree and after getting it attached it did the same. So I contacted AI and we worked on it for 4+ hours. and if I remember, not real good anymore, some settings were made. In the meantime, Creality sent me a new module, Installed it today and… same thing. I have to cut at 25/100, in 1/8 plywood. so I am in need of some serious help.

If not the module or wiring, then the controller board is suspect. There is not much else left.
Do you have an Electronics Tech or Amateur Radio friend? Or have a DVM and know how to use it?
- Is the laser getting the tated +12 or +24 voltage it is rated for?
- Does the power supply deliver the full rated voltage under full power load?
- Does the PWM signal vary from 1 to 5 volts?
- Does the laser have a small circuit board mounted on top?
- Is the $30 GRBL parameter the same as the S-value Max in the Device Settings window? It is typically 1000 for both.
Oh boy. I have no meter but you mentioning s10 I remember doing something there with AI. Nothing we were doing was helping so I just stopped. Now that the Falcon module is doing the same thing it may be something else.

In the Console window, enter $$. then look down (or iup) the list for $30. If you see $30=1000, then you are okay there. If not, enter $30=1000 in the Console window. Then do $$ again to make sure it took.
Next, make sure you see 1000 in the S-value Max box.
