USB camera into IP camera

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you had suggestions about two optimizations I looking after:

  1. I’ve a USB camera for overlays in Lighburn, and would like to have access to it through Internet. How to install a server on the laptop the USB camera is connected to, to allow a kind of streaming of that camera?

  2. When I’ll achieve my above-described goal, I’d like to call that video stream into the webserver provided with that A20 Pro, to have access to everything in one place. Do you have suggestions on how to proceed?

Kind regards !

Based on the way that you’ve stated it I’d suggest looking at using OBS or something similar to create a virtual streaming device from the USB camera. That would allow you to redirect the stream however way you like.

I’m using a small raspberry with the standard image for 3D printers octoprint the Stream is transferred to a virtual USB camera. with this solution I can use light burn in my whole network with a camera.
