When I set zero to use center it seems Millmage doesn’t respect the position.
I home, then jog to center of work piece. Set workspace 0,0
The position indicator and resulting paths when doing frame are relative to the corner not the center. The preview shows correct position.
To recreate what I am seeing try doing the following:
HOME>JOG to Center of stock> Zero X,Y workspace.
Create circle pocket operation anywhere and check preview
Note last position indicator and run FRAME
If I use STOCK corner all works fine.
Is the problem when running the job, or only when framing? (It’s possible just the framing option is incorrect, which is why I ask)

Not sure… but I don’t think it’s a framing issue as the on screen position and movement seem to agree with the frame but the preview is correct.
I have found the cause of this and have it fixed for the next RC
I might’ve spoken too soon, but I’m close. I have to connect to a machine and play with this a bit more.

Hi Bret
i think i have similar issue …
my next job lot are clock faces
i home my machine (all good) then i move spindle to clock face centre at which time i zero XYZ
i toggle last know position as this appears to be reference for all … and it’s still sitting at project bottom left position.
all i want to do is home machine … get my 0.0.0 coordinates
move to centre of clock face and zero job
pulling my hair out all day lol …
any advice guidance checks appreciated.
regards
Steve

RC5 this is still broken…
It’s often most useful to 0,0 center of stock for example doing clock face. When I zero center the display stays 0,0 at lower left and is out of alignment with the machine that still thinks it is at 0,0
I’m pretty sure this has been fixed now, but just hasn’t made it into the RC’s yet.

This bug is still in RC6…
Software is not respecting center zeroing.
Same issue with any zero other than lower left.
Machine is Nomad 3
Endmill is at zero in the center of the stock but you can see that “show postion” is still in the lower corner and if I were to run this it would crash to endstop.
