Using Jigs and Origin Keeps moving

Hi Folks, I have a JIG that is designed for 4 slate coasters. I can’t seem to get LB to engrave all four at the same time. I can successfully get one at a time to engrave, but doing all four, the Origin keeps moving. I have tried putting the image in all four circles, but LB keeps engraving off the circles.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using one corner of the square for the origin? It might be better than using the item in the upper left to repeat the design.

Perhaps using absolute coordinates. Then you always have a machine reference to use to set the jig. Remember to home the machine between operations.

I have the origin set at the middle of the jig (See black dot).

Jeremy, you mean home the machine before every different jig I use?

Maybe my eyes are off but that does not look centered to me… it looks off the same distance of your burn. Try setting your origin bottom left and set the laser to the corner.

Too use jigs properly you should use Absolute Coord and not Current position as it is in the image you posted.

yes, but try absolute coordinates rather than current position

I am using the black dot in the center of the jig as the origin. should I be using something else?

Good Day! So, I have set the settings to Absolute Coordinates. Placed the jig in the front left corner of the working area. Highlighted the images I wanted to laser engrave and hit “frame”. it went outside of the piece (see attached video). How do I set it up to engrave all four images at the same time? Here is a video of the FRAME. iCloud Photos - Apple iCloud

From what I could understand, you have 4 images and a circle (bottom left) selected.
The “frame” function will outline the area where the laser will pass when it is burning, that is, the circle and the 4 figures.
Because all the circles are not selected, the “frame” will pass inside the circles further to the right, which seems to me to be correct and, using the honeycomb ruler as a guide, it seems to be correct when compared to the dimensions on the Lightburn screen in screenshot you took.
