have just tried using number pad to move xy axis, they all work as should , even with a Bluetooth num pad so i can move xy axis while standing at table, trying get Z to move but for life of me i cant, by using any numbers or ±*/ docs just say use arrow keys they dont work either ?what am i missing or is it only the arrows on the console ? if so having say + - on number pad for z control would be great ![]()
have rolled back to RC13
Do the arrow keys move Z when using the PC keyboard?
no, nather. even turned of Bluetooth key pad to make sure there was no conflict , tried evry putton on laptop keypad no movment on z what so ever
Some notebook keypads dual-purpose the keys. Did you have NumLock turned on?
I use a wireless keyboard and mouse with my notebooks. It could be your notebook sends different keycodes for the arrow keys. I know I am poking in the dark here, but if the Docs say it, it worked for somebody. I will fire my system up shortly to see how mine behaves…
Update: I tried using the arrow keys on 2 different notebooks and neither made the Zaxis move. One PC has the wireless keyboard with a full keyboard (arrow keys next to the number pad).
