Hello. We have switched from Ezcad to Lightburn. It is used for UV laser marking. However, we are having trouble with the graphics settings. The image on the left has good ‘fill’. Is there any way to make the outline the same colour? The image on the right has no fill. How can I make the edge (outline) dark? Is this a limitation of the technology?
From what little I understand about UV laser, if a module is capable of doing a certain thing with one software, it will also do so with another (lightburn in this case). It will all be a matter of settings.
But I can’t realy provide much help on that matter.
I don’t have a UV machine either… I’d check to ensure your timing and delays of the galvo are correct. It appears to be going outside the image on every other scan… at least I’m thinking that.
This will have to include what scan angle you’re using, but it’s rather wobbly at the red arrow and the peak (green) has different thickness of white on each side.. so I’m guessing it’s some kind of timing or delay issue.
I don’t know how to do it with a uv, but with my fiber I usually follow the Laser Everything people video on timing and delays.
