trying to find the magic number for power with the q pulse setting. Ezcad under these settings worked great. Power shows on lighburn 20% but to my understanding uv is pretty much set at one power.
This reads like you are talking about two machines at the same time. There is no Q-pulse in GRBL and no, the diode power can be varied.
I believe you are correct, can’t change the power setting for a UV machine.

I don’t have one of these, but I’d hunt around for the manual on the source. It should tell you the values that you need… I don’t have windows, so I haven’t spent any time with EZCad.
On my fiber if you set the frequency to 1, it goes in the CW mode. However the most power is produced at 40kHz.
