Now that Millmage 0.9 has arrived with all its new fantastic capabilities, does the v carve facility allow for v carved inlays, or do we wait for an upgrade? I can’t imagine all the work which has gone into bringing us the new upgraded Millmage pro and look forward to putting it through its paces, thanks for your efforts.
I did not see inlays mentioned in the new features part. Hard to imagine what they can add other than that.
V carve inlays as a bespoke Operation aren’t currently available - that particular operation needs a bit more work to be intuitive.
You can do a v carve operation twice, a male and a female pass and DIY it with the existing tool as two operations, with a little elbow grease. I haven’t seen any actual examples of it yet, but in theory you can do it.
