How do I revert to a previous version? V2.0.02 behaves badly. Can’t resize the screen height to see the color cutting profiles on the bottom is the major issue so far.
Other controls usually visible on the bottom of the screen not visible. .
From the LB homepage you can download older versions of LightBurn, you just download and install it on top of the old one, no uninstall necessary.
That LB version 2 is useless is a false statement, you can write, “version 2 works, with my OS or machine not as expected” or similar. When you can handle LightBurn as a program reasonably professionally, then there is no “problem that cannot be fixed”, many use this LB version without problems.
One piece of advice I would give is that you remove your e-mail address from this post, there are so many web crawlers who search and collect addresses.
I too had problems but am currently running 2.0.02 on Win10 and testing 2.0.03-RC3 in a separate Windows folder. The v2 version is a major core rewrite and is more impacted by your Windows settings.
Reinstall v1.7.08 and install LightBurn-v2.0.03-RC-3-a60933a.exe (it will install to a LightBurn_PreRelease folder). This way, you can be productive and still see if the newer version will work with your setup. You may have to make some Lightburn settings adjustments in RC3, which can be found in other Forum postings. You can also Google lightburn windows too big after upgrade for some details.
Please have patience. Lightburn is just trying to keep up with current technology.
