Variable Text Auto-Advance Advancing Twice

Hi All,

I am serializing components using a rotary axis on my Haas HL50E. I am using variable text to generate the serial numbers.

I would like the serial number to advance by 1 for each run of the program. Upon starting, the current number will advance by 1. Upon closing the rotary framing window, it also advances by 1. Ultimately lightburn is advancing by 2 each time I run the program.

Does anybody have any advice for this issue?

So I have only run all the numbers in one operation. If I understand you correctly, you want to run part 1, engrave serial #1, replace part, with part 2, engrave serial #2, replace with part 3, engrave serial #3? I have never tried that. If that is the case, maybe do not close the rotary window between parts?
