Hi, Apologies in advance for a naive question. I could not find it in previous topics so wanted to confirm here. Anyone observed that Variable Text is disabled in the send that can’t enter any values in start or current for a serial number. Merge/CSV works fine but bit inconvenient for users. I downloaded latest release for trial (LightBurn Pro 2.0.05) and it works fine but users are using version Pro 2.1.00-RC-1 so what does it make it disabled on users PC?
That version is a pre-release version that is only provided for testing. So, it’s not expected to be bug-free. Additionally, RC1 is rather old, the current version is RC6.
Anyhow, I think I can reproduce your issue with RC6, so it’s a bug, I guess. All the “variable text” number fields are deactivated all times, no matter which type the text is. Maybe @Rick may take a look.
But for the time being, tell your users to use a release version if they expect to have all features in a stable, working state.
