Variable Text does not save current position

If I save and later re-open a file, the start and current position go to 0. End goes to a seemingly random 34 (the CSV has 250 rows). Is it supposed to save its position?

Thank you!
Lightburn V1.7.00 Windows 11

Any help appreciated. I have to write down where it left off in the CSV as it doesn’t remember where to resume.

I don’t see a post with the same issue and I think I asked it clearly…

I just did a test, Ver 1.7.06. I created a one item variable text line (%0). My csv has 135 lines. Using the next button in the variable text dialog, I ran it up to 20 and clicked test. Everyting displayed as expected. I then saved the file, closed Lightburn and reopened both. The Variable text remained at 20, the csv still showed 135 lines and the test button worked as expected. I then tried going to 30 and saved the file. I cleared the csv file from the window and reset the variable text. Closed the file without saving and when reopened, the csv populated and the number was at 30.

It’s working as expected on my system. I realize that doesn’t solve your issue, but I’m unable to duplicate the problem.

Perhaps there is an issue with your csv. Upload it here and I will perform the same test with your file.

Here is a CSV, saved from Excel, which does not save its stat

Here is a photo of before and after clicking save, exiting the program, and then re-opening. Thanks

Resolved: I updated from v1.7.0 to v1.7.07 and it now saves the position correctly.
