Variable Text showing ; instead in columns

My variable text does not show in the boxes but on the side. I do not know if it is the way I am saving my Excel file. I have Windows 10 and Office 365. I can only “save as”. I have tried everything. A friend tried it, it works 100% when she re-typed the Excel sheet. Please, what am I doing wrong here?

Make sure comma “,” is selected as the delimiter when exporting. The csv file you posted uses semicolon “;” as the delimiter.

Yes, the option shows as a comma, when I “save as”, it shows in LightBurn as semicolon. Thank you for the response, I have tried all the options I could use without any luck. This is a bummer.

Take a look here, check the global setting of the list delimiter.

Thank you so much! My Excel just do not want to change the “thousands separator” to a dot. Will see if I can figure this out. At least I know where the problem is.

Try Libre Office. It’s a free office suite that gives control. I opened your csv in Libre and did save as and it worked perfectly. I’m in US, but it shoulod work for you. I have been using that office suite for years. Another option is Google Sheets.

Thank you, much appreciated. What is driving me crazy is that the file works perfectly for the person I created it for but not for me. She also uses Windows 10 but a different Office package. I managed to change it in Excel, and it is working a 100%.

Thanks a mil, problem solved!
