If I download a vector design…like say a heart or a butterfly, do I have to do anything to the design before engraving it? is it ready to go? and what are the best places to download ?
You would need to set power & speed to something appropriate for your machine and material, and line/fill settings appropriate for the design.
Google, to start. Do a search for “vector, black and white art, hearts” (or whatever) and look at the ‘Images’ section and go from there. You can set additional filters to return the most appropriate results for what you are wanting. Take note of the site locations for these results and look on those sites for other things you might like. Bookmark that site for future use.
