after I finish the installation this message appears:
Cannot open LightBurn because apple cant verify the software
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
usually it says that I need to approve the software because it was downloaded from the website, and I go to the settings panel and approve it, but this time it doesn’t appear on the settings panel to approve.
Hold the Control key and click the LightBurn icon, or right-click or / two-finger tap the icon
Choose ‘Open’ from the menu
When MacOS asks if it should open the program, say yes, and it will be listed as an exception in your launcher. From now on you can just launch the application normally. Installation & Setup - LightBurn Software Documentation
@Rick’s solution will work fine with recent versions of MacOS, but not for older versions.
Not sure exactly what version is the trigger, but for my mac running High Sierra I had to open terminal and do it by hand :
sudo spctl --master-disable
sudo chmod -R 777 /Applications/LightBurn.app
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LightBurn.app
xattr -cr /Applications/LightBurn.app

I just ran through this exact process I posted for an internal beta release on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) running High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G14042) and all works as expected.
