for some reason I can not select anything vertical from array Lb ver 1.7 any advice welcome
Please show examples of your concern. I don’t understand from your text.
Possibly Virtual Array enabled ???
i think i may have discovered the reason for my issue . it would appear the default setting is “grouped” (i dont know if defaults can be altered) my issue was when creating an array “say for a material test grid” I could select only 1 horiz line but not the vert, the green or red selection tool either simply disappeared or would select the whole grid. Now that is sorted I have a 2nd issue of busted up text and the grid does not burn correctly just endless equally spaced lines
A picture of the results would be enormously helpful.
Yes, if a horizontal line is grouped, selecting vertically would also select the entire horizontal line. You can deselect group results in the array dialog.
Post a screenshot and pic of the results and we’ll try to get you sorted out.

OK, now I understand. That is the result of pirated software. Delete that Lightburn and go to lightburnsoftware.com and download a legitimate copy of Lightburn.

thanks for the advice deleted the prog then re-downloaded the latest upgrade 1.7.4 and now seem s to work fine
