Hi there after some help please i am trying to engrave names on 2 mm x 30 mm round disc and comes out so light i have it aprox 1 mm from disc using 100 percent power what should i use so people can see names on disc

I doubt 1mm is the correct focal distance is it?
Area, 10000mm/min Movement Speed, Compressed Spot auto focus
Have you done material tests?
yes i have it is 2mm plywood yes burns on 5 mm ply and very faint on 2mm ply
Doesn’t sound like this is working… Have you done a ramp test? Ensuring it’s properly focused.
We might be able to see more of the issue if you can post a couple pictures…
