In this weeks Quick Tip we take a look at the Boolean Tools, specifically Union and Weld. While they share some similarities in behavior it’s one we’ve seen commonly confused.
As a general rule, if one of the graphics is completely surrounded by the other, Union is typically what you want to use. The good news is if you apply the wrong Boolean operation, you can quickly undo the action and apply the correct one.
Like most things, the best way to familiarize yourself with the behaviors is to get some hands on practice with the tools.
