VIDEO: Quick Tip - Isolating an Image From Its Background

This week’s quick tip highlights the Trace Transparency function of the Trace Image tool.

While you’re likely familiar with using Trace Image to convert a Bitmap into a Vector graphic, Trace Transparency allows you to quickly generate a path of the transparent layer often found in PNGs.

This is incredibly useful for creating a perfect outline of your engraving that you can use to cut out the finished job, without the need to manually create one.

Simply set the layer to Line Mode , adjust your Speed and Power , and you’re off!
