I’ve made another Quick Tip video!
This one shows a couple of use cases for the Mirror Across Line tool.
I made a couple of designs to demonstrate the tool, including a Moroccan lamp that I’m rather proud of! I thought I should share the designs here in case anyone else wants to make one. It’s all cardstock and paper. Even the round finials on top! They’re made by rolling a pointed strip up and gluing the edges.
Here are the design files:
Included are settings suitable to my 50W CO2 laser.

Materials used:
- 120gsm kraft card (heavier would likely be better).
- Tissue paper
- PVA/ white/ woodworking glue (Elmer’s white glue, Modpodge, Titebond, etc).
- Adhesive tape (the kind that comes in a roller like correction tape). This could be substituted with thin double sided tape, or glue if you prefer.
- String (for hanging)
- Optional: USB-powered strip of LED lights.
