It would be great to have a vignette option in photo editing
If I understand your request, we call this ‘Image Masking’.

Vignette is an old photo technique that gives a soft edged mask (usually oval) that can be either light or dark. I do it in Inkscape but it would be convenient to do it directly in Lightburn.
Ah, yes, I understand. This sounds like an automation that applies a crop (oval) along with image adjustment in one go, including a softening and smudge effect at the outer edges. We do not currently offer a tool to click and make a “Vignette” style mask.
This is a really useful capability for portraits. Maybe in a future upgrade?
