Is there a way to see the file names when you import files on the canvas? Maybe when you select them one by one? thank you Ben
Are you saying you want to reference the original filename within the current design for files you’ve imported?
If so then no, import embeds the contents of the imported design into your current design so no file relationship exists at that point.
Is there something you’re trying to do with that?
I just want to see what file is imported on the canvas so you can see if they are all there or to recognise them.
I would like if I click on a part the file name would show up somewhere. It is hard to see the difference when the parts look the same. Thanks Ben
Don’t know how efficient it would be. But you could put the file name inside each one on a layer set not to output.
Or better yet, to one of the tool layers.
