Hi Rick. I used a store bought acacia board. Used a 2.8w JTech laser. 2000 mm/min at 70% power

I did one of those too, I laminated the maple myself though, then mineral oil.

I did mine on the underside so it won’t get cut up/marked.

What method do you use to make your lettering so dark?

I’ve done 10 of these for a lending company. Hope it is an on going thing.
