I got an unexpected pattern in the burn, which I really like. Rather than list all the settings, I have included the LB file.
The color is due to the lighting.

It looks like that because you used offset fill rather than fill.

Yes, I know this but I have used Offset Fill a lot and never saw such a difference in the shading. I think it was visible due to high speed and low power.
With the 40w diode, constant power causes pinholes at the stopping places. My first sign looked like Swiss cheese, so I cut the heat.
