I just got a Monport 40W desktop laser and I am adjusting to using this new model with lightburn. I am wondering why welding is not working for me. I was trying to design a simple ornament file.

Welding will only work on closed shapes. Looks like the 2 angled pieces at the top of the design are single lines and not closed shapes.
you are right! got rid of the lines and it works
