I’m the newest MacBook update, no idea what it is because I cant remember. I have everything turned onto what it should be. I have poured through the boards. I CAN NOT get the laser to engrave at all.
Let’s figure out where you’re stuck.
With LightBurn up and running and the engraver plugged in, are there messages that appear to be related to Connection in the Console window?
If you see ‘waiting for connection’ in the Console window, then you’re not there yet.
USB ports are dynamically assigned so depending on any number of possible connections the port may be in the same place as before or one (or five) spots over and not connecting.
The driver should have persevered through the Update.
