What are the advantages of the RUIDA controller?

There is a price difference of about 250-300 €. Is it worth me to choose this system?
Thank you.

As opposed to which other controller? If you’re looking at something with an M2 Nano (NewlyDraw / CorelLaser / LaserDRW) then yes, it is absolutely worth paying for the upgrade. The Ruida stores the jobs as they are run, so you can re-run without a computer connected, they are very fast and robust, and they allow you to directly control the power output of the laser from software. LightBurn doesn’t directly support the M2 Nano controller.

I understand. But is this controller not supported by LightBurn?
Software: CorelDRAW
Main board: M2 engraving machine
Panel: Digital panel
Data transfer interface: USB cable
Now I work with a 15W CNC laser and GRBL controller and LightBurn went very well.

Correct - the M2 is not supported by LightBurn.

I like the Ruida DSP because “it just works”. Yes, that’s a heavy-handed statement since these have their quirks, but overall the DSP reduces / eliminates the scope of complexity.

Thank you for the answers. So, the best solution is RUIDA and it is really worth the investment.

I found an interesting article about controllers. Can the link be posted here?

Sure - I don’t see why not.

A link that can help other people to make the best choice. I was convinced from the beginning that RUIDA is the best option.
