I’m done with this software. what else is out there?
Without knowing what your dissatisfaction is with LightBurn or the hardware that you have it’s impossible to provide any alternatives.
Please elaborate on what you’re solving for and the hardware that you have. In many cases the only alternative may be to use the software provided by the manufacturer.
It sure worked just fine before I had to “UPGRADE” Disatisfaction is 1. Everything prints mirrored even though the preview is not. The machine will not even cut the coating of a metal business card. (I’ve done hundreds before this UPGRADE.) I have the Chinese TROCEN. Which was doing great work until… upgrade.
check your device origin.
This is almost always an issue with incorrect Origin setting. When you upgraded, did you create a new device or change anything else?
Take a full screenshot of LightBurn and post here.
There’s nothing LightBurn would do to impact the physical capabilities of the machine.
Check the Cut settings. Make sure you’re not working in a different set of units than prior.
99% chance you set X/Y 0,0 to the wrong corner when you setup your device.
Note that the only other software that’s likely to work on your laser is LaserCAD. You may want to give it a try so you have something to compare to.
Personally, I would go back to the version that worked before the upgrade…while it has been a steep learning curve since Christmas, I feel that it’s miles and miles better than any alternative.
