What is your preferred method of attaching acrylic?

So I have been using super glue to attach pieces for keychains but sometimes with smaller items it’s difficult so I am curious how everyone else does it? I have never used transfer tape because it doesn’t seem like it would work long term, as always thanks for any feedback!

I’ve used IPS Weld-On 16 Acrylic Plastic Cement, and Caseway polycarbonate cement (it’s really thin, so I use a syringe to apply it). The Weld-On is thicker and can be a bit messy.

Acrylic is a “low surface energy” material where ordinary sticky stuff doesn’t do the job. 3M makes a line of LSE adhesives specifically designed for acrylic:

I’ve used it on a couple of projects with complete success and, in some cases, replaced “craft adhesive sheet”. It doesn’t stick to laminating film, but a layer of craft sheet solved that problem.

Available from the usual Amazon sources in small quantities in various shapes & sizes, which is all I need. Spendy and worth it.
