Very good my friend! Makes me lean towards Ortur even more! I’m still looking at the xTool D1 Pro though because I can add a IR laser now or down the road. However, I saw a video and it said you cannot use the WIFI connection with LightBurn on the xTool D1 Pro and I really need the WIFI and really like LightBurn. I took a quick look at xTools software and was really not that impressed, but, like I said it was just a quick look.
I’m not sure that Lightburn supports Ethernet with any grbl machines … most of these low cost grbl machines didn’t have enough horsepower/memory to support an additional Ethernet interface.
My guess it was developed for usb only use … I have no clue as to what it would take to modify the original code to re-route usb to wireless.

Ortur and xTools give you several ways to connect. One of them is WIIFI. Orthur will let you use LightBurn using WIFI but xTools won’t. Not sure why they did that with LightBurn being as poplar as it is. But sure like the IR option they have…
What makes one accessible to wif and the other not? Seems like both would have to use tcp/ip in some way.

The maker that made the video review uses Lightroom and mentioned it’s use in the video.
Here is a recent side by side on some testing between the Ortur and xTool D1 Pro. Video is a little boring however it has some very good data points for your consideration.
Very good video. Thanks for sending it. Think I’ll be going with the OLM 3.Both have their own good points and not so good points. But I feel the OLM 3 will cover all that I will be doing just a little better.
