I have a file that I have engraved and cut many times. Now all of a sudden it is not cutting correct. Can someone please tell me WTH is goin on.
The calibration of the axis is correct, and the material is NOT getting bumped or moved.
What kind of laser / controller / etc? You’ve run the file many times on this laser? My guess would be that the X axis motor slipped while doing the rapid moves between those shapes. Did you recently change any of the settings related to acceleration or maximum speed?
I have ran the file about 30 times….This is a new Control board from Laser Upgrades, The Black and Blue 3
It’s quite possible that this new controller has different settings for acceleration or maximum speed than your previous controller, and that could easily be the difference. (Your X axis stepper looks like it’s skipping)
If the controller has motor drivers on it, it’s possible they aren’t set to the same motor current values as your previous one.
