When I use line to burn it only outlines image can’t get it to burn all of image inside outline?

Can’t get machine to burn entire picture it only outlines image please help the new download for light urn messed all settings need help to put all original settings back to where they were

line mode is just that, a line. If you want to fill the image, choose fill mode.

A review may be in order.

Thankyou for your response but I do but it doesn’t come out black like previous lines I used it comes out brownish ?

You have not shown a picture of what you are seeing, and you’re not describing it well enough to help you.

My suspicion is that you are trying to run too fast, and haven’t enabled overscan, so the left & right sides are very dark where the laser slows down, and the middle is too light where it speeds up.

If you can attach an image of your cut settings, or your engraved result, or both, it will be much easier for us to help you.

So the first image is done nicely black then the
second photo you will see brown instead of black

Second picture see how light it is

Then this is the second one that turned out brownish
Not black

I’ve had my machine for a year now and never had this problem till I did the 1.7 update ?

First, these engravings do not match what you described in your first post. You said you were having an issue with line mode. These are filled.

Second, Oz asked for your settings as well as descriptive images. I would like to see them as well.

Third, these don’t appear to be the same species of wood. The results will certainly be different if you use the same settings on different species.

Oh ok yes I can’t show you settings till later as I’m at work right now but can send later this evening and yes they are different types of wood also thanks for clarifying that

But second photo is more engraved cut and the first photo is line black one this is what I want it to look like the first one but when I choose line it only does a outline not the whole image which I used line before in black image and that’s how it turned out very nice my only option was to use fill and that’s what I got but I may have done something to settings not sure what ? So will send my settings later thankyou

When you burned that wood and it was very black, the char stuck to the wood. With a different wood, the char may not all stick and you get more of a brown look. Personally, I have tried burning the bajeebies out of some materials with limited success.
