When starting job laser looses connection after 2 sec

When i start a job in lightburn i loose connection after about 2 seconds.
If i run same job through laser grbl it works fine with no broblems.

Do you get any message in Console when this occurs?

Also, can you take a screenshot of Edit->Device Settings?

Well now it is happening all the time in all programs. No messages pop in in light burn anymore
I think I hit do not show again. But it said connection lost. The machine turns off then back on and I have to start over again.

This is almost certainly going to be a communications issue.

I’d suggest doing a search on this forum for similar symptoms.

Most common issue is just a bad USB cable. Either too long or too poor quality. Swap with a known good high quality USB cable preferably with a ferrite bead. There are plenty of other potential issues as well so a search will help you there.
