What version will we have to wait for to include “the incredible new function” of selecting text by dragging with the mouse? A very basic function but non-existent here in 2023 three months from 2024.

You could always drag, stretch, disort and rotate. Esta muy facil.
Those functions are very good, but when I have to do this type of work it is a nightmare.
In order to put a larger line I have to make independent lines or simply change a name I have to do with the cursor keys. Slowing down the workflow a lot.
This may be one of those situations where a CSV import from a database file would be helpful:
Set up the text formatting once, create an array of labels, then run the CSV file to fill in the blanks.
That does depend on having a fixed label layout for each set of incoming names / titles / whatever, but that may be a reasonable restriction when you are producing groups with a specific format.
