lightburn was working fine and then my wife wanted to get in on the fun while I was not around !!
after re adding the deleted laser I noticed that after a job was run the laser function buttons : start stop pause ect. would disappear.
I can get them back by going into the Window menu, deselecting and then re selecting the Laser option
but that’s pretty tedious
any thoughts ?
Did you try the ‘Windows → reset to default layout’?

I think I have seen that option in the Window tab but I am hesitant to reset everything
which I am guessing is the case
or does this just refer to the layout of the workspace ?
Just do Window → Laser to restore it if you’re concerned.
And yes, Window → Reset to default just resets the windows.
