I have an OMtech AF2028-80 with a 20x28 bed size. There are a few camera choices available, and wonder which one would be the best for my application? I imagine I would want the best resolution, with the least amount of fisheye. Of the choices listed below, what would you choose? My mounting height will be 27" Thanks…
We likely have similar or identical machines.
I chose the 8mp W - 85 and it works reasonably well. However, be aware of what to expect. Some people come in with the expectation of sub .1 mm precision which isn’t realistic with the current system. A well tuned camera I’ve seen get precision to sub-millimeter but within a couple of millimeters is realistic and may not be consistent across the bed.
