Hi, just got an email about the release of ver 2.0.00. but when I check the update tab in my licensed program it says I have the latest version ( ver 1.7.08 ). Can someone tell me which is correct or is the ver 2.0.00 just a Beta type thing?? Cheers
…not sure what that means, but the official, current version is 1.7.08.
The beta version, which is used to test and prepare the successor to 1.7.xx, has the number 2.0. RC5.
Depending on how brave you are and how stable you want a version to be, you can choose between the two. The idea is that if you “test” a beta version and find bugs and/or have improvements, you report them and in this way help to get a better product.

That sounds like I was thinking regarding the Beta test release. I think I will stay with the 1.7.08 version for now.

Great that you have found the right solution for you.
Just a small side note for those who would like to try but don’t really dare or have another problem with LB. All versions of LightBurn can be rolled back very easily without losing any of your settings ;-). You simply install the “old” version over the new one or vice versa, without uninstalling etc.
