I found this
Will that work?
Just guessing but from my experience the Chalk Spray Paint would still end up being black when it reacts with the laser. Not sure how you would get it to be white. If your using a diode laser i dont think its possible. With a Fiber laser it may be possible by changing the speed and power settings.
How does black powder i have work fine for black but cant do white?
Only certain chemicals can create a molecular bond with the material. TiO2 is white, but after it’s lased, it’s black.
You can look through all of the laser ink products/sites and they all produce black marks.
Good luck
The only way i can think of to get a white design on a black piece would be to use a white power coat and then laser it on
TiO2 is white, but when it’s heated and produces a molecular bonds, it’s black. Most coatings you heat up to these temperatures turn black, irrelevant of the original color.
I’d think someone would have come up with a white coating by now… All of the industrial coatings produce black results.
Good luck
