…same here. It’s like not centering a workpiece in the lathe or setting the height of the turning tool not center or being a little off with everything…
With a laser you definitely lose power and precision if the laser beam is not aligned properly, this also applies to the cleanliness of the lens and mirror.
Almost aligned and almost clean - does not work, in the laser world.
