I kept all of my older files on a folder on my laptop. I went to retrieve one and they’re gone! everything over a year or so old. I did have some problems after latest software update, never thought this would happen. HELP!
I had an update delete an entire folder (inetpub) from my machine for no valid reason. Fortunately, I had 98% of what disappeared in a backup.
When it happened again, I had already found by accident a folder that had “old” in the name with all the missing files.
In the search box at the root folder, try [asterisk]old[asterisk] for a search. And good luck!
