I have been using Lightburn, but this doesn’t appear in the documentation. I must of pushed the wrong button, I keep getting cut out of bounds even though my print is clearly inbounds. Does the job origin have something to do with it? Or is it something else?
Thanks for any input.
Try to set your machine to engrave only selected objects and see if the error goes away. If it does, then you probably have something out of bounds which is causing the error. You can zoom out and try Select-All (Ctl-a ) and see if you see anything being selected along with your design.
Are you engraving an image or filled shape that has enough overscan to extend beyond the machine limits?
also, make sure there isn’t some remnant of the drawing that you thought was deleted but lightburn is still seeing. I have had as small as one pixel left that causes this.
It can also be caused by the speed. How faster the speed… how more it needs to over ‘shoot’. And if that part is outside the area, you also get a “out of bound” error message.
Hi Stuart, have you sold your laser and don’t care about the answers to your question?
