Literally have been using my camera all week and suddenly, between cuts, the camera no longer represents what is being cut, it has shifted 2 inches downwards and I know I have to do a calibration again.
I’d really like for the settings to stick.
Are you certain that your camera has not been bumped or moved? Camera settings should be retained indefinitely, but if your mounting system has any movement in it, or the hinges to your laser’s lid are sloppy, or the gas struts are starting to fail and not opening all the way - all of these things can lead to the camera not being in the same location every single time. I’d suggest you examine your mounting setup first, and once verified, we can explore deeper options.
