Looking to run a material test on 3mm Birch plywood for a Roly Lasermatic 20 watt. On preview it shows it will take 4 hours and 48 minutes. on my Longer Ray 5 10watt it shows over 2 hours. I’ve never changed anything in material test that I know of, just going by default settings.
Material test.gc (2.3 MB)
included the gcode
Ligtburn calculates the time based on the data the user provides the program with.
Probably your 2 machines have different profiles, see if you can fix the profile that doesn’t fit.
both are different but not sure what to change. Will all Roly Automation MK2 20W have the same settings and can I ask someone for a copy of there settings?
How big is your grid? This seems like a really long time for a Material Test.
You will see a big difference between filled squares and not filled. The filled is a raster scan. I have seen that line art is pretty much accurate on the time estimates.
You probably need to read it from your controller…
What kind of speed and interval are you using?
it is 10x10.
Good question!
This is how many squares it will produce…
Can you make a screen shot of the material test gui that is causing this?
