The Euro Pro version i can buy here for 204,95€which with todays exchage rateis $240,41 .
The US version is $199 which with todays exchage rate is 169,65€.
This is quite a difference.
I only can recommend people living in the Euro area to pay with your credit card in US-Dollar.
They will charge you a little fee but still a lot cheaper.
This does not work if you need it for a business

The threshold for when you must register for VAT is approximately 6,700 Euros (converted from DDK) for all business owners here in Denmark and approximately 10,000 Euros in Germany. The VAT rate is 25% in Denmark and 19%, in Germany. (7% for food, lucky Germans)

I’m trying to explain to you that you pay VAT on LightBurn (just like on any other product) when you buy it and that it has nothing to do with LightBurn. That’s what you asked about in your first post in the title.
If for some reason you don’t have to pay taxes in the country you live in, that’s fine with me.
If i buy the licence here online and pay $199 it does not include my countries VAT.
It’s not related to the country you live in. What’s so hard to understand.
As I wrote before, if you don’t have to pay VAT in your country, that’s fine with you, unfortunately the rest of us have to pay it.
I’ll write it one last time:
if you use the legal way to buy LightBurn in Europe/EU, the price includes VAT.
