why the vector imports very badly ?

Hello! I’m new to the world of laser engraving and cutting, I have a Sculpfun S9 laser, I use Illustrator for my designs, I was making some keychains but when the shape is very complex the vector imports so badly, it gets deformed. I noticed that it does this if the vector had a lot of points, I tried to clean it up but now I see that some shapes are displaced and there are still some deformations.

What would be the best way to import them without losing any detail?

In settings > file settings do you have it set to illustrator?

It still does it, but if I export it as PDF from AI it is solved hehe :person_shrugging:

I’ve seen this a few times, not nothing I can recall specifically. I think it’s extensions/optimizations that some programs use to export SVG.

See if there is more than one file type available to save with SVG extension.
Try with DXF or AI extension.
