Why when I frame and object does it burn the wood?

When I frame a object the laser burns the wood. The fire button is set at 0.75. It never burned before.

What is the S Value Max setting in Edit->Device Settings?

And what are values for $30, $31, $32 in Edit->Machine Settings?

$30=1 $31=0 $32=1

What about S Value Max?

$30 should be 1000 so make that change. Make sure S Value Max matches.

Then retest.
